I started Pardon the Intrusion at TNW in September 2019 as a way to chronicle the latest trends in cybersecurity and privacy.
Since then 36 issues of the newletter have been published twice a month. I wrote about the vicious data breaches, the biggest cyberbaddies, the growing ransomware threats, the role of AI in cybersecurity, and the larger debate surrounding encryption.
But it doesn’t end there. Cybersecurity matters now more than ever.
Attacks are not only becoming a lot more sophisticated, they are leaving a profound impact on our lives in the real world. At the same time, the counter methods designed to thwart them are turning out to be just as advanced.
This “endless tussle between digital thieves and defenders” has morphed into “a form of modern warfare that’s playing out across an increasingly advanced threat landscape.”
